Dr. Shaina Felsenstein grew up in Manalapan, New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
After college, Dr. Shaina attended UMDNJ where she received her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Shaina then went on to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She graduated in the top of her class, receiving the Pierre Fauchard Award from the International Honorary Dental Organization.
While at Nova, Dr. Shaina volunteered her time locally and on mission trips, providing dental care to those in need. Dr. Shaina completed her pediatric specialty training at Long Island Jewish Cohen Children’s Hospital, where she was appointed chief resident in her last year. It was here that Dr. Shaina developed the specialized skills needed to treat children, each on an individual basis.
In her spare time, Dr. Shaina likes to paint, play with her dog Lola, and spend time with her family.
